Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface -J533-, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

-- Remove the bracket for the Comfort System Central Control Module -J393-. Refer to COMFORT SYSTEM CENTRAL CONTROL MODULE -J393- BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

It is necessary to remove the fuse panel on the driver side because there is a wiring harness behind it. The wires can remain connected to the fuse panel.

-- Remove the fuse panel on the driver side. Refer to FUSE HOLDER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the 3 screws -1- and lower the gateway control module bracket -2-. Pay attention to the wires still connected.

-- Unlock and disconnect all the connectors from the Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface -J533- -1-.

-- Pull both retainers -arrows- toward the outside and remove the Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface -J533- -1-.
