Backrest Release Handle, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the seat benches. Refer to BENCH SEATS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear seat out trim. Refer to REAR SEAT OUTER TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Carefully pull the backrest release handle -2- slightly off of the rear seat.

-- Lift the retaining tab -3- on the inside of the handle with a small screwdriver and remove the handle from the release lever -1- -arrow-.
