Backrest Release Cable, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition.

-- Remove the seat benches. Refer to BENCH SEATS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear seats. Refer to REAR SEATS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear seat out trim. Refer to REAR SEAT OUTER TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the Backrest Release Control Module -J930-. Refer to BACKREST RELEASE MOTORS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Open the Backrest Release Control Module -J930- and disengage the release cable.

-- Detach the release cable eyelet -1- from the bolt on the release lever.

-- Unclip the release cable -2- at the rear seat backrest -arrows-.

-- Thread the release cable out of the seat frame.
