Switches, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition.
-- Remove the sill-side trim. Refer to SILL-SIDE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Use the :T10236 to loosen the button -1- from the Driver Seat Adjustment Control Head -E470- -7-.
-- Release the latching mechanisms and detach the Multicontour Driver Seat Switch -E658- -3- from the trim panel.
-- Remove the two bolts -5- (0.7 ± 0.5 Nm ) and remove the Driver Seat Lumbar Support Adjustment Switch -E176- -4- from the trim panel.
-- Remove the three bolts -6- (0.7 ± 0.5 Nm ) and remove the Driver Seat Adjustment Control Head -E470- -7- from the trim panel.
-- Remove the cover -2- from the trim as needed.
