Driver MULTICONTOUR Seat Compressor -V439-, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the seat. Refer to SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the seat belt latch. Refer to FRONT SEAT BELT LATCHES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the tunnel-side trim. Refer to TUNNEL-SIDE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the sill-side trim. Refer to SILL-SIDE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the backrest. Refer to BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the backrest cover. Refer to BACKREST COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the cover and cushion from the backrest. Refer to BACKREST COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Open the lower locking bar -1- on both sides of the backrest.

-- Remove the two bolts -1- (8 Nm) on both sides of the backrest and disconnect the connector to the Driver Multicontour Seat Compressor -V439-.

-- Detach the Driver Multicontour Seat Compressor -V439- including both adjusting units -2- from the backrest.
