Front Side Airbag, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the seat. Refer to SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the headrest. Refer to HEADREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the seat belt latch. Refer to FRONT SEAT BELT LATCHES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the tunnel-side trim. Refer to TUNNEL-SIDE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the sill-side trim. Refer to SILL-SIDE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the backrest. Refer to BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the backrest cover. Refer to BACKREST COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the cover and cushion from the backrest. Refer to BACKREST COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -2- (9 Nm ).

-- Remove the side airbag -1- from backrest frame.

-- Thread the wiring harness -3- through the corresponding openings in the backrest frame.
