Battery General Information

NOTE:
For vehicles with a high-voltage battery, the voltage for the 12V vehicle electrical system must be checked after disconnecting the 12V battery. If there is voltage, the high-voltage system must be de-energized.
To guarantee a long service life, the battery must be checked, serviced and maintained as described in this service information.
In addition to supplying the power to start the engine, the battery acts as a power reserve for the entire vehicle electrical system.
