MISFUELING Guard, Removing And Installing, Metal Door: Removing

-- Open the fuel filler door.

-- Clean the area around the fuel filler neck.

-- Remove the fuel filler neck cap -arrow-.

-- Insert the release bars -1- into both guides in the fuel filler neck as far as the stop -arrows- as shown.

The elbows on the release bars must point toward each other.
The release bars will click into place.
Insert the release bars so that the misfueling guard -1- can release and be removed.

-- Remove the misfueling guard from the fuel filler neck -arrow-.
