MISFUELING Guard, Deactivating, Metal Door

NOTE:

If the misfueling guard must be deactivated, it is not enough to simply remove it.

A deactivated misfueling guard must be installed. Refer to the Parts Information.

CAUTION:

There is danger due to electrostatic discharge.

  • The fuel tank is grounded through the misfueling guard.
  • A deactivated misfueling guard must be installed to restore the ground connection to the fuel tank. Refer to the Parts Information.
