Brake Caliper, Removing And Installing: Installing: Notes

Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required
- Torque Wrench 1332 40-200 Nm :VAG1332
- Brake Pedal Actuator:VAG1869/2 .
-- Install the brake pads. Refer to BRAKE PADS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Bolt brake caliper onto wheel bearing housing.
-- Install brake line on brake caliper.
-- Press the brake pad wear display wire into the opening in the brake caliper.
-- Connect the connectors of brake pad wear indicator in the bracket on the brake caliper.
-- Remove the Brake Pedal Actuator:VAG1869/2 .
-- Bleed the brake system. Refer to BRAKE SYSTEM, BLEEDING .
-- Install the wheels.
Wheel bolt Tightening Specifications. Refer to WHEEL BOLT TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .
NOTE:
Before moving the vehicle, press the brake pedal firmly several times to seat the brake pads correctly in their operating position.
CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL.
