Electromechanical Parking Brake Control Module -J540-, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.
-- Remove the right side trim panel in the luggage compartment. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANELS .
-- Press the lock button -arrow- on both sides outward and remove the Electromechanical Parking Brake Control Module -J540- -1- out of the bracket while paying attention to the connected wire lengths.
-- Release and disconnect the connector and remove the Electromechanical Parking Brake Control Module -J540-.
