Vacuum Line, Removing And Installing With Vacuum Sensor -G608-, RHD Vehicles: Notes

-- Open the clamps -arrows- and remove the intake line.

-- Remove the engine compartment seal near the brake booster.

-- Remove the right plenum chamber cover. Refer to PLENUM CHAMBER BULKHEAD .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- for the coolant expansion tank -1-.

-- Push the coolant expansion tank -1- in the direction of -arrow- from the mount.

-- Set the coolant reservoir -1- aside.

NOTE:

Do not remove the coolant hoses.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- to remove the bracket -1-.

-- Place the bracket -1- with the lines to the side.

-- Remove the toothed lock washer -arrow B-.

-- Unclip the coolant hose -1- from the bracket -arrow A-.

-- Remove the right bulkhead from the plenum chamber. Refer to PLENUM CHAMBER BULKHEAD .

-- Remove the vacuum line at the separating point -arrow- by pressing the release buttons.

-- Remove the vacuum line -1- from the brake booster.

-- Cover the engine compartment near the Engine Control Module -J623- to prevent scratching the paint.

-- Remove the bolts -1- and remove the Engine Control Module -J623- upward.

-- Release and disconnect the connector from the Vacuum Sensor -G608-.

-- Thread the vacuum line with the Vacuum Sensor -G608- out toward the right.

-- Release clips with pliers -1-.

-- Carefully lower the Vacuum Sensor -G608- -2-.
