Steering Column Electronics Control Module -J527-, Coding

The Airbag Spiral Spring/Return Spring with Slip Ring -J527- and the Steering Angle Sensor -F138- are integrated in the Steering Column Electronics Control Module -G85-.

NOTE:

Code the new Steering Column Electronics Control Module -J527- after installing it. Refer to STEERING COLUMN ELECTRONICS CONTROL MODULE -J527-, CODING .

If the steering column switch is faulty, then perform an output diagnostic test for the Steering Column Electronics Control Module -J527-.

The Steering Column Electronics Control Module -J527- can be checked via the output diagnostic test.

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC TESTER .

-- In Vehicle Diagnostic Tester, select operating mode "Guided Fault Finding"  .

-- Using the "GO TO" button, select "Functions/Component Selection" and the following menu options in sequence:
