Rear Lid Rearview Camera -R189-, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

-- Remove the lower rear lid trim panel. Refer to REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connectors -arrows- from the camera wiring harness.

-- Unlock and disconnect the connector -arrow-.

-- Remove both screws -arrows- and the metal cover from the rear lid.

-- Open both side tabs -arrow- and push the handle button and the rearview camera toward the rear and out of the rear lid.

-- Remove the rearview camera from the rear lid in direction of -arrow-. Pay attention to the wires still connected.
