Lower Outer Headlamp Mounting Tab, Repairing

Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required

Torque Screwdriver :VAG1624

-- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

-- Remove the headlamp. Refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rest of the old headlamp mounting tab -1- as illustrated.

-- Mount the new headlamp mounting tab -2- on the bulb socket on the headlamp and tighten the screws -3- to 1.0 Nm.

-- Install the headlamp. Refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

If one headlamp is removed, it must always be adjusted after installation.

-- Check the headlamp adjustment and adjust the headlamp if necessary. Refer to
