-- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

-- Remove selector lever trim. Refer to STORAGE COMPARTMENTS, COVERS AND TRIM .

-- Squeeze the 3 retainers -arrows- and push the switch -1- out of the trim.
