General Description 

Functions of anti-theft alarm system are integrated in Comfort System Central Control Module -J393-. Refer to Comfort System Central Control Module -J393- .

The most important information for activating and deactivating is provided by Access/Start Authorization Control Module -J518-.

Malfunction Recognition and Malfunction Indicator

Anti-theft alarm system is equipped with On Board Diagnostics (OBD) which assists troubleshooting.

The "Guided Fault Finding" function is to be used for troubleshooting of one of the systems described as in the following article "Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System". Refer to VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC TESTER .
