Instrument Housing Cover: Removing

- Steering wheel set to the end stop in the lowest position.
- Steering wheel set to the end stop in the direction of the vehicle interior.
-- Turn off the ignition.
-- Remove the instrument panel trim. Refer to INSTRUMENT TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
NOTE:
It is not necessary to unclip the gap cover -2-.
-- Pry the steering column trim upper part -1- out of the mounts using the : 3409 .
-- Remove the 2 screws -1- (1.5 Nm ) and unclip the instrument housing cover -2-.
NOTE:
During unclipping, the instrument housing cover must be raised slightly above the instrument cluster!
