Rear Lid Trim Panel, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition.

-- If equipped, remove the Rear Lid Lock Button in Luggage Compartment -E406-. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LAMPS AND SWITCHES ; Lamps and Switches in Luggage Compartment; Rear Lid Lock Button in Luggage Compartment -E406- ; Rear Lid Lock Button in Luggage Compartment -E406-, Removing and Installing.

-- Remove the Rear Lid Courtesy Lamp - W51-. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LAMPS AND SWITCHES ; Luggage Compartment Lamps and Switches Rear Lid Courtesy Lamp -W51- ; Rear Lid Courtesy Lamp - W51-, Removing and Installing

-- Remove the two bolts -1- in the recess of the warning triangle.

-- Remove the bolts -2- and -3- from each handle recess.

-- Pry the trim panel out of the mounts in the lid using the :T10383  .

-- Detach the rear lid trim from the window frame trim on both sides.
