Rear Lid Trim Panel, Removing And Installing: Installing

NOTE:

Before installation, inspect the retaining clips for damage and replace if necessary.

-- Install the trim in the area of the rear lid lock and prelatch it.

-- Tilt the trim in the direction of the rear lid and lift the rail edges onto the support surfaces of the window frame.

-- Engage the trim in the rear lid via the retaining clips.

-- Connect the rail edges to the window frame.

-- Screw the 2 bolts -1- into the recess of the warning triangle (1.5 Nm).

-- Screw the bolts -2- and -3- into each handle recess (1.5 Nm).
