Lock Carrier Cover, Removing And Installing: Installing

NOTE:
Before installation, inspect the retaining clips for damage and replace if necessary.
-- Position the lock carrier cover -1- at the outer ends via the centering pins in the corresponding body mounts.
-- Bend the rear lid seal piping and pull it over the edge of the lock carrier cover.
-- Engage the lock carrier cover into the body by pushing in the area of the clips -arrows-.
CAUTION:
To prevent damage, never hit the lock carrier cover during installation!
