Short Description:

Two different versions of the auxiliary hydraulic pump are used, depending on vehicle equipment.

Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Hydraulic Pump 1 -V475- for hybrid vehicles.
Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Hydraulic Pump 2 -V476- for vehicles with the Start/Stop System

Design and Function:

Refer to Self Study Program 8-Speed Automatic Transmission 0C8.

The removal and installation procedure is the same for both pumps.

WARNING:

Do not run the engine or tow the vehicle when the auxiliary hydraulic pump is removed or when there is no ATF in the transmission.

The auxiliary hydraulic pump can also be removed while the transmission is installed.
