Selector Lever Handle, Removing And Installing: Overview: Removing

-- Unclip the shift cover from the trim.

-- Move the selector lever into "D".

NOTE:

The selector lever can also be shifted in the emergency release from "P" into "D" when the power is off. Refer to EMERGENCY RELEASE FROM >>P<< .

-- Disconnect the connector and pull the boot over the handle.

-- Remove the ear clamp.

-- Pull the knob up without pressing the button.

NOTE:

Do not push the button once the handle has been removed otherwise it will not be possible to remove the handle again.
