Front Final Drive, Checking Transmission Fluid

Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Torque Wrench 1331 5-50Nm:VAG1331
-- Remove the plug for checking the transmission fluid level -arrow-.
The fluid level is correct when the front final drive is filled to the lower edge of the fluid fill hole.
-- Install the plug -arrow- with a new seal.
Note the Following when Filling for the First Time:
-- Remove the plug -arrow-.
-- Add transmission fluid until it reaches the lower edge of the filler hole.
-- Install the plug -arrow- with a new seal.
