Bonded Rubber Bushing In Transmission Support, Removing And Installing

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Press Plate :VW402 
• Press Piece - Multiple Use :VW412 
• Press Piece - Bushing - 50mm Diameter :VW432 
• Base Block :VW441 
• Press Piece - Reverse Gear Syncro :3296 
• Gearbox Carrier Mounting Assembly Tool :T10214 

-- Remove the transmission support. Refer to TRANSMISSION SUPPORT AND BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bonded rubber bushing.

-- Bolt the new bonded rubber bushing to the Gearbox Carrier Mounting Assembly Tool - Thrust Piece :T10214/3  .

-- Install the bonded rubber bushing -A- into the Gearbox Carrier Mounting Assembly Tool - Guide Sleeve :T10214/2  using the Gearbox Carrier Mounting Assembly Tool - Thrust Piece :T10214/3  until the Gearbox Carrier Mounting Assembly Tool - Thrust Piece :T10214/3  is flush with the Gearbox Carrier Mounting Assembly Tool - Guide Sleeve :T10214/2  .

-- Now align the new bonded rubber bushing with the Gearbox Carrier Mounting Assembly Tool :T10214  to the transmission support.

-- To do so, align the bolts -A- or the notch -arrow- on the Gearbox Carrier Mounting Assembly Tool - Thrust Piece :T10214/3  in the center of the holes in the transmission support.

The spaces "x" must be the same.

-- Install the bonded rubber bushing into the transmission support until the Gearbox Carrier Mounting Assembly Tool - Guide Sleeve :T10214/2  can be turned by hand -arrows-.

-- Install the transmission support. Refer to TRANSMISSION SUPPORT AND BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
