Cooler, Removing And Installing : Installing

Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - RADIATOR/COOLANT FAN .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note The Following:

-- Install the air duct on the air filter housing intermediate flange. Refer to OVERVIEW - AIR FILTER HOUSING .

-- Vehicles with the multitronic transmission 0AW or automatic transmission 0B6: remove the ATF lines. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .

-- Install the impact absorber. Refer to IMPACT ABSORBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the front bumper cover. Refer to IMPACT ABSORBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Connect the coolant hose to the coupling. Refer to Figure.

-- Fill the coolant. Refer to FILLING .

NOTE:

All of the coolant must be changed if the radiator was replaced.

-- Vehicles with the multitronic transmission 0AW or automatic transmission 0B6: check the ATF level. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .

Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - RADIATOR/COOLANT FAN .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note The Following:

-- Install the ATF lines. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .
