Coolant Fan, Removing And Installing: Removing

NOTE:

When installing, bring all cable ties back to same positions.

-- A4: Remove the radiator with fan shroud. Refer to COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- A5: Remove fan shroud. Refer to FAN SHROUD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the left Coolant Fan -V7-.

Coolant Fan 2 -V177- with separate coolant fan control module:

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the right Coolant Fan 2 -V177-.

Coolant Fan 2 -V177- with the coolant fan control module:

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- on the Coolant Fan 2 -V177- (right).

-- Free up electrical wiring harness.

-- Unclip the coolant fan control module -1- from the fan shroud and remove the fan with the control module.
