Oil Pump, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the spur gear unit. Refer to SPUR GEAR DRIVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the coolant pump. Refer to COOLANT PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the oil pan lower section. Refer to OIL PAN LOWER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the coolant pump input shaft -arrow- from the oil pump.

-- Place the Used Oil Collection and Extraction Unit:SMN372500  under the engine and leave it there for the following steps.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and remove the intake tube.

NOTE:

Oil Escapes When Removing Oil Pipes.

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2- and then turn the oil pipe downward and remove it.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the oil pump.
