Oil Pan Upper Section, Removing And Installing: Removing

The engine is removed and secured to the engine/transmission holder. Refer to ENGINE, SECURING ON ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION HOLDER .

-- Remove the generator bracket. Refer to AUXILIARY COMPONENTS BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the oil pump. Refer to OIL PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -2- from the Oil Pressure Regulation Valve -N428-.

Ignore Item -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -1, 3, 4 and 5- and the cover plate.

NOTE:

Ignore item -2-.

-- Loosen and remove the bolts -1 to 7- in a diagonal sequence.

-- Loosen the oil pan upper section carefully from the adhesive then push it off the alignment sleeves and remove it.
