Radiator, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
-- Remove the front bumper cover and the bumper. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect the coolant hose from the radiator, to do this, lift the retaining clip -2-.
Ignore items -1, 3, and 4-.
-- Disconnect the coolant fan connectors -1 and 2-, to do this, push the clamp to the rear in direction of -arrow- and push the release down.
-- Disconnect the coolant hose from the radiator, to do this, lift the retaining clip -2-.
Ignore item -1-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Remove the air filter housing air guide -1- on the intermediate flange -2-.
-- Disconnect the coolant line -arrow- leading to the coolant overflow reservoir from the radiator by lifting the retaining clamp.
-- Release the clamps in direction of -arrow A- and tilt the power steering coolant hose -1- forward in direction of -arrow B-.
-- Pull the power steering coolant hose upward off the condenser and lay it on the engine.
-- Release the retaining tabs in direction of -arrows A- and remove the left and right air ducts -1- upward in direction of -arrow B-.
-- Release the left and right radiator retaining pins and remove by pulling upward in direction of -arrows-.
-- Remove the left and right bolts -1- and remove the radiator console with the radiator from the lock carrier in direction of -arrow-.
-- Lower the radiator slightly.
-- Have a second technician release the retaining clamps -1- in the direction of -arrow A- and remove the condenser -2- upward out of the mounts on the radiator in direction of -arrows B-.
There Is A Risk Of Damaging The Condenser And Refrigerant Lines And Hoses.
- Do not stretch, kink or bend refrigerant lines and hoses.
-- Tip the condenser with the lines connected forward.
-- Remove the radiator.
-- Press the fan shroud left and right locking tabs at the same time in direction of -arrow- and remove the fan shroud upward from the radiator.
