Coolant Pump, Removing And Installing: Installing

NOTE:

Replace Sealing Rings And O-Rings. 

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps of the same type as those equipped by the factory.

-- Insert the O-rings -1 and 3-.

-- Insert the coolant pump input shaft -2- into the oil pump mount as far as the stop.

-- Push the coolant pump into the brackets on the upper part of the oil pan.

NOTE:

To connect drive flange onto hex head of driveshaft, reach with the finger into the lower pipe connection of coolant pump and twist at impeller until coolant pump can be inserted completely.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note The Following: 

-- Install the Map Controlled Engine Cooling Thermostat -F265-. Refer to Map Controlled Engine Cooling Thermostat -F265-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install front coolant pipe. Refer to FRONT COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
