Camshaft Position Sensor, Removing And Installing: Notes

-- Disconnect the connector on the respective camshaft position sensor.

NOTE:

The following camshaft position sensors are installed in cylinder bank 1 (right): Camshaft Position Sensor -G40- and Camshaft Position Sensor 3 -G300-

The following camshaft position sensors are installed in cylinder bank 2 (left): Camshaft Position Sensor 2 -G163- and Camshaft Position Sensor 4 -G301-

-- Remove the air filter housing to remove the Camshaft Position Sensor 3 -G300- on cylinder bank 1.

-- Remove the coolant reservoir to remove the Camshaft Position Sensor 4 -G301- on cylinder bank 2.
