Rear Fender Splash Shield: Removal

NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.

Remove the LH side rear wheel. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
Remove the blind rivets.

1. Remove the nuts.
  Torque: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)
2. Remove the screw.
  Torque: 13 lb.in (1.5 Nm)

Remove the rear fender splash shield.
1. Remove the pin-type retainers.
2. Remove the grommets and the rear fender splash shield.
