Fender Splash Shield: Removal

NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.

Remove the wheel and tire. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
Remove the bolts and the push pins.
Torque: 15 lb.in (1.7 Nm)

Remove the nut, the pin-type retainer and the push pins.
Torque: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)

Remove the bolts.
Torque: 15 lb.in (1.7 Nm)

Remove the fender splash shield.
1. Remove the pin-type retainers.
2. Release the wire harness retainers.
3. Lower the fender splash shield.
4. If equipped.Detach the wire harness retainer.
5. Detach the wire harness retainer and remove the fender splash shield.
