Compact Disc (CD) Player: Removal

  1. Remove the front floor console. Refer to: Floor Console .
  2. Remove the console liner.

  3. Release the clips and renove the front floor console trim panel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

  4. Remove the bolts.

  5. On both sides.Release the clips and remove the upper bezel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover.

  6. Position the floor console armrest.

  7. Remove the front upper console trim panel screws.

  8. Remove the upper console trim panel.

    1. On both sides. Remove the screws.
    2. On both sides. Release the clips.
    3. Disconnect the electrical connectors and separate the wire harness guide.

  9. Remove the screws, disconnect the electrical connectors, separate the wire harness guides and remove the console top plate.

  10. Remove the screws and the center front floor console mounting bracket.

  11. Remove the lower tray bottom screws.

  12. Remove the inner tray.

    1. Remove the front screws.
    2. On both sides. Remove the bolt and the screws.
    3. Raise the front of the lower tray and position forward.

  13. Remove the nuts and position the wire harness aside.

  14. Remove the screws from the lower front floor console center trim panel.

  15. Release the tabs and remove the lower front floor console center trim panel.

  16. On both sides. Remove the screws from the front floor console frame.

  17. Remove the screws and position the front floor console frame forward.

  18. Remove the screws, disconnect the electrical connector and remove the CD player.
