Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor: Removal

- Remove the engine appearance cover retainers, release the engine appearance cover from the rear retainers and then remove the engine appearance cover.
Torque: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
RH (right-hand) Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensors

- Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the retainer and the intake CMP sensor.
Material
: Motorcraft® SAE 5W-30 Synthetic Blend Motor Oil / XO-5W30-QSP (WSS-M2C946-A)
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the retainer and the exhaust CMP sensor.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
LH (left-hand) Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensors
- Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the retainer and the intake CMP sensor.

- Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the retainer and the intake CMP sensor.

Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the retainer and the exhaust CMP sensor.
