Features of the refrigerant system:

Audi 100/Audi A6 From 10/1992 to 03/1997 250 + 50 250 + 50
NOTE:

The replacement compressor contains the full quantity of oil intended for the refrigerant circuit. On A/C compressor replacement, the quantity of oil in the A/C compressor is therefore to be adjusted. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT COMPONENTS, REPLACING .

The Audi 100 and Audi A6 were equipped with different A/C compressors depending on engine and production period. Exclusive use was made at the start of production of "Zexel/Valeo" A/C compressors. From MY 1996, "Denso" A/C compressors were gradually introduced on vehicles with 6-cylinder engines. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT [For engine(s) CTUA, CAED, CREH, CEUC, CTGE, CREC, CYNB, CPNB] and the parts information.

Beginning from production year 2006, the name of the "Zexel" A/C compressor was changed from "Zexel" to "Valeo".
