Right Timing Chain Cover, Removing And Installing: Removing
During installation, all cable ties must be installed at the same location.
-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the Heated Oxygen Sensor -G39-. Refer to Heated Oxygen Sensor -G39- /Oxygen Sensor after Three Way Catalytic Converter -G130-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Press both the release buttons and disconnect the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) hoses -arrows-.
-- Remove the nuts -1 and 3- and the bolt -2- and move the secondary air injection pipe to the side.
-- Remove the right AIR combination valve from the cylinder head (refer to RIGHT COMBINATION VALVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ) move to the side.
Ignore item -2-.
-- Disconnect the connectors -1- for the Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N205- and Exhaust Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N318-.
-- Remove the electrical connectors -1 to 5- from the bracket and move to the side.
-- Free up the wiring harness on the right timing chain guard.
-- Remove the bolts -1 through 8- and the bracket -arrows A and B-.
-- Carefully loosen the right timing chain cover for example with a scraper from the adhesive and remove.
