Tightening Specifications

-- Tighten the bolts to 9 Nm in the following sequence: -1 to 12-.

NOTE:

Replace the bolts that were tightened with an additional turn.

-- Tighten the bolts in steps in the sequence shown:

Step	Bolts	Tightening Specification/Additional Turn
1.	-1 to 8-	Install all the way in by hand.
2.	-1 to 8-	40 Nm
3.	-1 to 8-	Turn an additional 90°.
4.	-1 to 8-	Turn an additional 90°.

-- Check the cylinder head at several locations for distortion using a :VAS6075 and a feeler gauge.

Maximum permitted distortion, 0.05 mm.

Resurfacing cylinder head (face grinding) is only permissible to minimum dimension -a-.

Minimum dimension -a- = 139.20 mm.
