Rear Peripheral Camera -R246-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AVANT: Removing

The Rear Peripheral Camera -R246- has a trailing cable. The vehicle wiring harness couplings are located in the rear lid.

-- Remove the lower rear lid trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANELS .

-- Unlock and disconnect the connectors -1, 2 and 4- inside the rear lid.

The Rear Peripheral Camera -R246- is permanently attached to the handle button -3-.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows-.

NOTE:

Depending on the market, it may be necessary to remove the license plate or the license plate bracket.

-- Pull the handle button -3- with the Rear Peripheral Camera -R246- out of the retainer in the rear lid.
