Right Flange Shaft, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Replacing the circlip
-- Clamp the flange shaft in a vise with jaw protectors. Use the new circlip -A- to press the previous circlip out of the flange shaft groove.
-- Fill the space between the sealing- and dust lip half way with sealing grease. Refer to the Parts information.
-- Drive in the right flange shaft using the :VW295 .
-- Install the right drive axle. Refer to DRIVE AXLE .
-- Check transmission fluid level. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL, CHECKING .
