8-Cylinder Gasoline Engines

-- Warm engine oil temperature at 194° F (90 °C).

Vehicle must be in level position.
Let engine run at idle for at least 1 minute.
Turn off the engine and wait approximately 5 minutes (the oil returns slowly to the cylinder head).
Check the oil level inside of 1 minute.

Use the either the MMI or the Engine Oil Gauge Tester :T40178 to check the engine oil level.
