Electro-Drive Drive Motor Seal, Removing And Installing

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Puller - Crankshaft/Power Steering Seal T20143/2
Seal Installer - Input Shaft T40240

Procedure

-- Remove the Electro-Drive Drive Motor -V141-, refer to ELECTRIC DRIVE MOTOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Pry out the shaft seal for the Electro-Drive Drive Motor -V141- using the puller - Crankshaft/Power Steering Seal - Pulling Hook T20143/2.

-- Coat outer circumference and sealing lips of sealing ring with ATF.

Installation position: the open side of the seal faces the transmission.

-- Install the Electro-Drive Drive Motor -V141- shaft seal and the Seal Installer - Input Shaft T40240 all the way to the stop for the Seal Installer - Input Shaft -1-.
