Headlamp Housing, Removing And Installing, Vehicles Through My 2012: Removing

-- Turn the light switch to position "0".

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

-- Do not touch the flasher.

-- Remove the front bumper cover, refer to FRONT BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING / OVERVIEW - FRONT BUMPER COVER .

-- Disconnect the connector -5-.

-- Free up the wiring harness -6- on the bracket by loosening the spiral clips -arrows B- and cutting the cable ties -arrows A-.

-- If equipped, remove the headlamp washer fluid line -8- from the retaining clips and remove the headlamp washer nozzle, refer to SPRAY NOZZLES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector on the front airbag crash sensor, refer to DRIVER FRONT AIRBAG CRASH SENSOR -G283-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -1, 3, 4 and 7- and remove the headlamp bracket -2- with the housing.

-- If the headlamp housing is being replaced, then the mount on the bracket must be removed, refer to HEADLAMP HOUSING MOUNT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
