Left/Right Daytime Running Lamp And Position Lamp Led Module -L176- / -L177-, Removing And Installing, Hid Headlamps From My 2013: Removing

-- Turn the light switch to position "0".

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

-- Do not touch the flasher.

-- To remove the expanding clips -arrows-, carefully push the pin -1- to dimension -x- until it audibly engages into the expanding clip -arrow A-.

Dimension -x- = 5 mm.

-- Remove the unlocked expanding clip -2- and the pin.

-- Lift the lock carrier cover -3- and engage it on the radiator grille.

-- On the right: remove the air filter housing, refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove bolts -2- and -4-.

-- Loosen the bolt -3- three turns.

-- Push the headlamp housing -1- forward all the way in direction of -arrow-.

NOTE:

If the headlamp housing cannot be pushed all the way forward, then the connector must be disconnected.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the LED module -2- from the headlamp housing.

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

NOTE:

If the bolts cannot be removed as described, then the front wheel housing liner must be removed, refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .
