Ribbed Belt Pulley with Freewheel, Removing and Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Multi-point adapter 3400

8 mm hex socket or TORX T50

Removing

Remove generator → 27 BATTERY, STARTER, GENERATOR, CRUISE CONTROL .

If present, press the protective cap off the generator pulley.

Counter pulley with Multi-Tooth Adapter 3400 and turn generator shaft clockwise to loosen.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Turn the generator shaft counterclockwise to tighten.

Clip protective cap onto generator pulley.
