Light bulb for high beam, replacing

WARNING: Caution high voltage!

Make sure to disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap before performing work on parts of High intensity gas discharge (xenon) headlights marked with yellow high voltage symbols.

Removing

Remove headlight. Refer to Headlights, removing and installing: .
Remove housing cover from headlight housing.
Disconnect electrical harness connector at igniter for gas discharge lamp.

Rotate light bulb counterclockwise -arrow- and remove it from headlight housing.
Disconnect electrical harness connector at bulb.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, noting the following:

Do not touch glass portion with bare hands.
Secure light bulb by turning clockwise.
Secure housing cover using wire clamp.
Install headlight. Refer to Installing .
