Roof antenna with Navigation System Antenna R50 and Auxiliary Antenna (Telematics) R90 , removing and installing

CAUTION:

Switch off all electrical components.
Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

Removing:

Remove rear headliner trim → - 70 - INTERIOR TRIM .
Remove D-pillar trim on both sides: → - 70 - INTERIOR TRIM .
Remove Luggage Compartment Light W3 → - 96 LIGHTS, SWITCHES - INTERIOR, ANTI-THEFT .
Remove left luggage compartment trim → - 70 - INTERIOR TRIM .

Carefully pull down headliner at rear.
Disconnect antenna cable at applicable control module in sub-compartment.
Disconnect antenna cable for Telephone Antenna R65 at right D-pillar.
Release antenna wires up to roof antenna.

Remove nut - arrow - (6 Nm).
Remove antenna from roof.

Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal.

The washer under the retaining nut for the antenna has a gap through which the antenna cables must be guided.
