Satellite Radio R146 , sedan (through MY04), removing and installing

If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine.

Use the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 to do so.

Turn off all electrical components.
Remove ignition key.

Removing

Remove base mount → - 70 - INTERIOR TRIM .

Adapter plate - 2 - with Satellite Radio R146 - 1 - is slid into top of base mount - 3 - on rear side and engaged.

Disconnect connectors on Satellite Radio R146 - 1 -.

The adapter plate must not be removed.

Press both catches on adapter plate - 2 - down in direction of arrow and remove Satellite Radio R146 - 1 - from plate - 2 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order.
Activate Satellite Radio R146.
