Satellite Radio R146 , Avant (from MY05), removing and installing

If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine.

Use the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 to do so.

Turn off all electrical components.
Remove ignition key.

Removing

Open luggage compartment.

Remove bracket - 3 - from base mount - 4 - far enough so connectors can be reached.
Disconnect connectors on Satellite Radio R146 - 2 -.
Remove bracket - 3 - completely from base mount - 4 -.
Remove bolt - 1 - (3 Nm).

Remove Satellite Radio R146 - 2 - from bracket - 3 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order.
Activate Satellite Radio R146.
